Area Sales Manager
Goal of position
- To reach optimal results from the sales of capital goods in the designated area (China), in order to reach the global sales ob
Desc
- visit existing and potential customers in the designated area (China), as also organize the necessary travel preparations
- advise our (potential) customers with best possible solutions for their business strategies in relation to the Moba products
- gather and evaluate all relevant information about market developments, investments and competition in our industry
- advise our (potential) customers in quotation phase about the technical possibilities of the Moba equipment, ba
- prepare, arrange and guide visits of customers and potential customers to the premises of MobaChina, MobaNetherlandsor other interesting locations to inform the (potential) customers about Moba background
- organize visits of potential customers to existing customers where Moba equipment is operational and showing best performance to influence the decision making
- organize sales exhibitions, seminars and other presentations to promote Moba equipment
- be the representative of the company for our (potential) customers
- make price comparisons with competitors to determine the sales position
- advise the management about the sales forecast for the Area (China) and inform the management on time about deviations
- make proposals concerning the improvements of existing equipment and developments of new products
- make technical proposals.
Knowledge
Knowledge is compulsory for following subjects:
- market (potential, trends, competition)
- sales, marketing and negotiation techniques
- product assortment
- Chinese and English language
- internal organization, production possibilities and company procedures
- production process at the customer
Responsibilities
Is responsible for:
- effective and efficient sales and after sales in the designated area (China)
- to maintain existing relationships and acquire new relations
- promised deals and appointments with our customers
- all commercial and technical aspects, and together with Service Manager co-responsible for the after sales service in the area (China)
Contacts
There is contact with:
- (potential) customers to bring the Moba products and product possibilities under the attention
- agents and customers concerning all aspects of the delivery of products, as also concerning the organization of training events
- management MobaChinaconcerning the determination of sales ob
- product management in order to supply relevant market information to the market
- several internal departments for gathering and supplying information in order to realize the delivery according made appointments
Manage and control
- advises and instructs agents
- gives orders to colleagues of Sales Support
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree and at least 3-5 years working experience
- Familiar with Food or Agricultural industry
- Fluent in English (both oral and writing )
- Leadership quality
